The Implementation Manager is a critical member of our Professional Services team and is responsible for client facing interaction and the complete client project lifecycle from requirements gathering through planning, implementation and installation into production. The role is multi-faceted, requiring a mixture of problem solving, communication, presentation, and management skills. This includes the ability to analyze and document business requirements, communicate effectively across multi-disciplined teams, foster client relationships, manage implementation projects, and configure Decision Academic's enterprise software. The successful candidate for this role must bring creativity and enthusiasm, strong time management and communication skills, the ability to work well in a team and to learn quickly, and prior experience working directly with clients and managing software delivery projects of varying complexity.

 
Responsibilities:
·         Project Management:
·         Independently manage the successful implementation of Navigator Suite™ software for higher education clients.
·         Manage all aspects of client projects:
- Set and manage client expectations. Act as primary point of contact for client communications.
- Manage project schedule and scope. Create and execute project work plans and revise as appropriate.
- Identify and manage project risks.
·         Client Management:
·         Responsible for building lasting relationships of confidence and trust with clients and other project stakeholders.
·         Continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and strengthen client relationships.
·         Other Responsibilities:
·         Support Decision Academic clients, team members, and partners in the configuration and implementation of the Navigator Suite™ product.
·         Train colleagues and end users on product functionality and system features.
·         Demonstrate product functionality and system features to clients, prospects and colleagues.
·         Participate in the planning of new features and contribute to the ongoing evolution of Decision Academic products.
 
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
·         4+ years experience in business/systems analysis and/or software implementation.
·         Experience with enterprise web application configuration and/or implementation.
·         Degree/diploma in Business, Computer Science, or equivalent.
·         Project management training in one or more industry recognized project management certifications (e.g. PMP) is an asset.
·         Proven ability to create and maintain strong client relationships.
·         Experience assisting users in defining and articulating system requirements; performing gap analysis, and documenting requirements.
·         Excellent communication and presentation skills.
·         Must be comfortable communicating with technical and non-technical audiences.
·         Bilingualism is an asset.
·         Able to work independently or as part of a multi-disciplinary team while managing project activities and deliverables.
·         Possess superior analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.
·         Able to learn new skills and technologies quickly.
·         The ideal candidate must be able to exhibit enthusiasm for our products and confidence in our vision when communicating with prospective and current customers.
·         Experience with the higher education market is highly valued.
 
Additional Skills / Attributes
 
·         Experience delivering training involving software and business processes to end users, consulting partners and/or other interested parties.
·         Familiarity with relational databases (Oracle, MS SQL Server) and/or Extensible Markup Language (XML) is an asset.
·         Experience creating or editing web content using HTML and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS) is an asset.
